First Night: A Whole New Whole New World?
[Action- Locked to Beast and Belle]
[The bed seems off somehow. It's dark, but somehow the feel of it is off.
His hand stretches out and brushes against something furry. Abu must have fallen asleep on his bed again. He quickly pulls his hand back to avoid waking him, then pushes himself up off the bed. This is definitely not his bed.
He tries to crawl out of the bed... and his hand hits warm fur. A lot of it. Attached to something... big.
Very, very big.
So, he, being the stalwart hero he is, does what any brave, calm, resolute hero does. He yelps and jumps out of that bed like it was on fire.]
[Action]
[Later in the day, Aladdin can be found wandering around the village, staring in awe at everything he finds and generally looking as much like a new feather as one possibly can. Feel free to chat, or if you're feeling more malicious, feel free to test your deviousness.
Alternatively, there is a certain tiny thieving monkey running around, and Aladdin hasn't been united with him juuuuust yet. He may or may not grab anything shiny.]

[Okay, okay, he hadn't noticed anything yet. Just play it cool, get back whatever Abu stole, and find some way to slip them back onto the guy's person before he saw they were missing.]
"Sorry if he bothered you."

[Something did feel off though... Yu reached up, absently tugging at his collar, and...]
...?
[He glanced down at the empty collar, before looking back at the monkey, bewildered. Normally he notices things like that!]
...hunh.
[Action] IN WHICH STEALTHY SHENANIGANS ENSUE.
Best to assume he didn't notice anything. Yes. He leans down and scoops Abu up into his arms, and though Abu seems to appreciate it at first, he very quickly notices Aladdin stealthily and subtly rummaging through the pockets inside Abu's vest, while Yu was distracted. Abu tried to keep him away, but when Yu glanced back at Abu, the two very quickly played it casual.]
"Anyway, uh, I didn't catch your name."
[He deposits Abu on his shoulder- drawing the small pins from the little monkey's vest in the process- and offers his empty hand to shake.]
"Aladdin. I'm, uh, new in town. If it wasn't obvious."
[Action] THE STEALTHIEST
Narukami Yu. I've only been here a few months; I can sympathize.

Weird. It made him tough to read, actually. But hey, even somebody that serious would have reacted if something was stolen from them. Right?
...right?]
"Nice to meet you. Yeah, it doesn't seem bad so far. People are friendly, the place seems quiet... all the food you could eat..."
[He laughs, and claps Yu on the shoulder, then tries to slip the pins into one of Yu's pockets without being noticed. Please work, please work...]

[And... now his pocket felt heavy. Well, that wasn't subtle or anything; he almost missed it, and if the guy wasn't being a bit suspicious, he may well have. Without breaking his expression, he slipped his hand into his pocket, taking his pins out and idly snapping them back on as he continued.]
It's not bad, except we're trapped here, and no one's found a way out yet.

"I've heard something like that."
[Almost as an afterthought, he adds,]
"Sorry about Abu. He knows better."

[He reached out to the monkey peaceably, to show he wasn't upset, and may give him a pet. He was a sucker for small animals, especially cats, but he never had the opportunity to pet a monkey before.]

Tried and failed. Before giving a happy little sigh and submitting to the petting, prompting Aladdin to laugh.]
"He's really nice, he just gets a little greedy sometimes."
