[It is very, very foolish, but also Katsuki understands where Aladdin is coming from. It's the same reason he's going with the guy, on top of making sure he's safe and not about to get mowed down by a dragon that's twice the size of the adults that came back to help them rescue the Moon that one time. There is no way he's letting the guy go alone on this one, and he scoffs when he's called out for it.]
Kiss my ass. [He puts a little more speed into his gait, huffing.] First of all, it's my job to make sure all of you comes crawling home - and second, I'm not going to be the one to tell your fiancé, my neesan, that her groom-to-be isn't going to make their wedding.
...Which, if you do end up getting hurt and missing, I will beat you so close to fucking death only to hand you to Jasmine so she can KILL YOU herself.
[It barely works, but it still works, though the young blond is still grumbling, and he stomps a little more aggressively as he walks, snapping back a curt--]
I'm more likely to attack you if you don't shut your damn trap!! TCH!
[He's all bark and it's painfully obvious by now, but Katsuki does shush up a little bit more than his usual...extreme volume level, because Aladdin is correct. If he accidentally spooks the dragon, or is an assumed threat with his less than subtle vocals, that will end badly for them when they try to talk to it, so...he will behave and be quiet.
He can't help but smile a little bit at that, but he doesn't say anything else. He doesn't want to actually annoy the guy, even if he doesn't actually think Bakugou's gonna hurt him.
Besides, he wasn't lying- he really does think it's best not to be so loud. So he says nothing else for the whole walk along the edge of the valley, and he pauses a good healthy distance from it- he wants to stay quiet until he's ready to show himself, but he doesn't want to get too close and be threatening either.
He doesn't emerge from the shadow of the rocks until he's within hearing distance of the dragon, and he comes out slowly, his hands raised in a placating and peaceful gesture.]
Uh... hey- sorry, uh, sorry if I startled you. I'm not gonna-
[The dragon narrows its eyes at him, a glare that makes him falter for a moment, and he swallows.]
[He would never, aside from maybe a smack upside the head or something that...his mom usually would do when he was being a little shit. Aladdin has that sort of energy that would get him a motherly smack, let's be real here. The sass is strong with with one.
The walk is long, but it is quiet aside from the natural sounds of the valley around them. It's quite nice, and Aladdin may actually see for the first time ever that a lot of the tension and hard lines Katsuki sports seem to dull a bit, and he actually looks decently calm, and relaxed, and completely in his element to boot. His favorite hobby is, after all, hiking and mountain climbing, and he so rarely does that anymore since starting his studies as a Hero Trainee. Free time is a little, uh...scarce when you're on call for any and all emergencies at a second's notice.
However...that calm and relaxation is gone the moment the dragon comes into view, and all the ferocity and tension is back in his expression and muscles as he quietly observes and says nothing. Aladdin is a talker, a charismatic guy with a lot of charm as well as a lot of street smarts. In that way, he's actually kind of like Kaminari...a bit of an idiot when it comes to scholastics, but a natural when it comes to being the so-called "face". Even so, he's staring down a dragon right now. One way bigger than the ones they're familiar with, so Katsuki narrows his own eyes right back.
You may scare his accomplice here, you pair of gaudy blue boots, but he is unimpressed by all of what you've got to offer.]
[Oh, Aladdin is definitely easing off. He's said his peace, now he's waiting for the dragon to make a decision. The dragon who huffs a little lick of flame from its nostrils, as if in warning of some sort. Aladdin takes a step back, hands still raised, but the dragon makes no move to attack.
Instead, it hops down to the ground and settles into a seated position, wings tucked in, its eyes watching him with idle curiosity.]
... does... this mean you're gonna hear me out?
[Another snort of air, no flames this time, and a dip of its head. He thinks that's a yes.]
Thank you! I mean- uh- I think you're in danger here. I think if you stay, Vaeros can find you.
[The dragon's eyes narrow at the name, and Aladdin flinches visibly but doesn't flee, and the dragon makes no move to attack. After a moment, Al breathes a sigh of relief.]
[Katsuki's fingertips do twitch, for a second - when he sees the puff of flame and the enormous reptile move - but he also does not attack. He's still tense, poised to spring forward and pull Aladdin behind him or into the air to get out of range of, well...getting barbequed a thousand times over, but until the giant gecko makes a move to present itself as a threat, neither will Katsuki.
Once they reach a...shaky ceasefire of sorts, he releases a fraction of the tension in his shoulders and nods a little to what Aladdin says, expression grim.]
This ol' Pencil Neck jerk is right - that bastard Vaeros already tried enough shit already to us, to other dragons we've come across, and even to the Moon herself. I don't know what shit he's pulled to drag you all here, but...I don't think he intended to.
[Why bring the dragons here when he tried so hard to get rid of them all before?]
FOR BAKUGOU/@xploud
Yeah, I know.
[He does feel bad. And he knows it's foolish, he really does. But...
Well. It's not the first time he's done something stupid because it felt like the right thing to do.]
You really don't have to come with me, y'know.

[The confidence is inspiring. Stupid, but inspiring. At this point, it's more to try and put Bakugou at ease.]
Besides, all that yelling is only gonna startle the dragon and make it more likely to attack us.
[... Okay, that one was just for him.]

[Is that said to Aladdin or the dragon?
