[As agreed in their conversation on Sleepr, Jasmine is waiting for Aladdin in the astronomy tower. It's daytime, so no stars to gaze upon, but she's taking advantage of the lovely view of Lake Omen when he comes in.
As soon as she hears him, she turns her head with a hint of concern lining her brow.] Aladdin. You, wanted to talk?
[Okay. Okay. Get it together, Al. He stops fidgeting his hands, sits down, nearly stands up again from sheer restlessness, manages to restrain the impulse.
[A notable amount of air escapes from her - thank Allah he said it. She gently shakes her head and speaks with more frustration in her voice than a straight answer could have ever fully conveyed.]
Yes, we have. Now, we've been engaged for three years.
[She always appreciates him considering her feelings. But at this moment, what matters to her more is his honesty.]
[She nods, knowing they're on the same page making this much easier for her to say.]
I've thought the same thing. I brushed it off because my father isn't here, or Genie, or our other friends back home. But, now we have friends here, and-
[She clenches her fists, then opens them again, as if she's about to propose a crazy idea.]
[Jasmine throws her arms around Aladdin and presses her lips to his. With the energy put into the embrace, the kiss is very passionate, like she's channeling all of the joy she feels at this very moment into the gesture.]
[-is as far as he gets before she practically launches herself into a kiss. It only takes a moment for him to kiss her back, his arms slipping tightly around her.
Yeah, on second thought, they can discuss the details later.]
Action; after their Sleepr conversation
As soon as she hears him, she turns her head with a hint of concern lining her brow.] Aladdin. You, wanted to talk?
no subject
Uh, Jasmine, I-
[He clears his throat.]
That is, uh- I wanted to ask about, um-
no subject
[He's doing that thing where he doesn't just spit out what he's thinking. Why?]
What's going on?
no subject
[Okay. Okay. Get it together, Al. He stops fidgeting his hands, sits down, nearly stands up again from sheer restlessness, manages to restrain the impulse.
Sigh. May as well just say it.]
...Night Sky talked to me. On Sleepr.
no subject
She waited too long. She should have told him as soon as their talk, but then the Green Knight showed up and uprooted her plans. Again.
Story of her life these days.]
Wh... what did she say?
no subject
[Al. Come on.]
...we never really talked about our, uh, plans. Here.
no subject
[She knows exactly which plans he's talking about... she thinks...
Wait, does she? Just how much did Night Sky tell him-?]
No, I guess we didn't.
[Perhaps she should let him decide.]
no subject
I just mean- well, I guess I sort of thought-
[No. Get it together. Breathe.]
We were supposed to be married over a year ago and instead we wound up here. And I don't- that is, uh-
[Al.]
...I don't know if we should still be waiting or not. I-if that's still what you want.
no subject
Yes, we have. Now, we've been engaged for three years.
[She always appreciates him considering her feelings. But at this moment, what matters to her more is his honesty.]
Is that what you want?
no subject
[Wait-]
I mean, yes! I- I don't know, I-
[Nope. No. Stop it. Calm.]
...I want our wedding to be perfect. I want all our friends there, and your father, and everybody else. You deserve that. But-
[He swallows and rubs at the back of his neck.]
But we don't know how long we'll have to wait. For that.
no subject
I've thought the same thing. I brushed it off because my father isn't here, or Genie, or our other friends back home. But, now we have friends here, and-
[She clenches her fists, then opens them again, as if she's about to propose a crazy idea.]
Aladdin... what if we have two weddings?
no subject
[... Well, from what they know, they'd forget everything that happened here anyway. It... it would be like it had never even happened, really.
Which meant-]
That's genius!
1/2
[Thank. Allah. He understands.]
And then no one gets to miss out, and we don't have t-
no subject
But, she's not saying wait. She just stopped talking completely and is now doing the blushing-while-avoiding-eye-contact thing.]
no subject
Then- uh- I mean-
[Focus. Focus.]
Then we agree. We'll have a wedding here. Soon.

[It's happening. It's finally happening. With their new friends, decided together, fulfilling the wishes they told Vaeros themselves-]
