Asking if he is a friend from home seems foolish, however, you will have to elaborate.

I know him, yeah. He's done a lot of terrible things back home. To me, to Jasmine, to Genie, everybody.

[He takes a deep breath, then-]

I knew he was here in the village, and I know we should try to get along with him, but we can't trust him. He doesn't care about anybody but himself.

I'm sorry to hear that that he did any act of unkindness towards you and the others.

And I agree, we should try to get along with him, Aladdin. I will understand if you feel you cannot be around him in the shop, I can try to schedule you at different times. [But the words "I'll fire him" did not come out of her mouth.]

[Ugh. Well, he hates it, but it's her shop. He can't tell her not to hire who she wants to hire, he's definitely not quitting, and...

Well. Actually.]

Not a chance. Somebody who knows his tricks from experience should be there to keep an eye on him.

[And he flashes a smile again.]

He was the one who came to me seeking employment, I can't imagine he would risk being removed from the position after just starting. If he does not choose to stay, that is his own volition.

Is this something I need to inform Jasmine about as well, or will you handle the matter? I have already informed Willow.

Yeah, the first time he met me he said he was looking for help. He's not above lying to people to get what he wants.

[He doesn't say it to dissuade her as much as to warn her.]

I'll tell her, but I think she'll be even more upset than I was.

What could I possibly have that he wants? Besides, if he wants something from me, you will be there right beside me to handle it, won't you?

Oh, and, uh.... maaaaaybe it'd be a good idea to let Willow and I keep handling the customers. He's not really a 'people person.'

Another reason I have little to fear. Willow and you, and never mind Jasmine, Belle, and all of our other loved ones who come to help out at the shop are not the sort to hesitate to step in.

So he said as well. For now, I will have him learn the various salves, tinctures, and creams. I will let Vil know as well and he can decide if he wants Mozenrath to learn those potions as well.
